Title: Research Intern

Location: JingAn District, Shanghai, PRC.

Period and salary: The intern is expected to work for at least 3 days a week for 4-6 months. Salary will be RMB200 per day.

Tasks and responsibilities:

Provide Chinese- and English-language research assistance on a wide range of policy and business-related topics in Greater China and North Asia

Assist with daily news monitoring of China’s government policies, reform progress, regulatory developments, as well as diplomatic and trade relations.

Provide Chinese-to-English translation and interpretation

Accomplish other tasks assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications and specialist skills:

BA/BS or above 

Year 3 or above students

Strong interest and research skills in the areas of policy and business 

Excellent Chinese and English language skills

Good comprehension and communication experiences and skills 

Preferred knowledge in political science, international relations, and/or international business and trade 

Excellent Microsoft Office and Excel skills
