Responsibilities:
1) Support external practical exams in April-June.
2) Quickly setting up and testing demonstration equipment according to teacher specifications
3) Quickly setting up and testing student lab equipment in an organized manner according to teacher and CIE specifications
4) Tearing down and organizing equipment with the same enthusiasm
5) Storing, organizing and managing lab equipment (equipment includes mechanics, heat, waves and optics, and electricity & magnetism)
6) Communicating via email and connect with equipment suppliers
7) Other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.
Skills:
1) BA degree in Chemistry, Biology, Physics or relevant Science major.
2) Relevant working experience in the education field, preferably in the high performance school or university.
3) Good subject knowledge of Science to high school level or better.
4) Good understanding of lab safety.
5) Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, optimistic, and supportive personality.
6) A high functional use of English and understanding of written and verbal English.
7) Excellent organizational skills to manage the storage and maintenance of physics equipment.
8) Mechanical skills and ability to fix broken equipment and set up equipment to specifications.
9) Good computer skills, familiar with relevant software
