Scope of Position • Conduct laboratory tests and ensure accurate data recording, documentation, and analysis. • Collect, organize, and analyze data to support technology development activities. • Support prototype demonstrations and assist with technology transfer/migration initiatives in China. Working Hours / Schedule • 40 hours per week Education • Master’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline. Skill Requirements • Strong creative thinking and innovative problem-solving abilities. • Effective oral and written communication skills. • Good English proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing. • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills. • Ability to design prototypes for offline proof-of-concept testing or online demonstrations based on process concepts. • Advanced degree in engineering is preferred. • Proficiency in 3D CAD tools; SolidWorks and AutoCAD are preferred. • Experience or capability in equipment design, machining, and commissioning. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience • Solid understanding of physical principles, including statics, dynamics, heat and mass transfer, fluid mechanics, and related engineering fundamentals, with a strong foundation in machine design. • Knowledge of or experience with materials processing equipment.
