JOB SUMMARY:
Provide a brief description of why the job exists. Support GSC business community (buyers and vendors) by providing 1st level support for all GSC systems related issues/questions.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. 1st level support for all GSC system issues/queries
2. Single point of contact for all VC Portal issues (technical & functional) for Vendors & internal buyers
3. Resolve most of the recurring issues on his/her own.
4. Log and track system issues, follow up with business for prioritization and with IT team for solutions
5. Provide periodic updates to business on progress
6. Proactive monitoring of GSC systems: VC Portal, SAP ECC, SAP APO, QAD & PRMS; publish periodic reports
7. Collaborate with GSC IT – India team for issue resolution
8. Work on continuous business improvement initiatives (led by Process Improvement team).
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Education Bachelor Degree in IT/SCM Relevant
2. Work Experience 2 year IT support experience 1 year Supply Chain (IT background) experience
3. Additional Computer Skills: Proficient at Office software like Word, Excel, PPT
4. English Skills : CET-6, Fluent English speaking and writing
5. Travel Frequency: less than 5%%
6. Knowledge: - Any ERP – supply chain experience
7. Other traits we are looking for: - Able to work independently, self-motivated, result oriented -Good communication and interpersonal skill -Well-organized and detail-minded
8. Supply Chain Management course / degree / certification
9. Relevant Work Experience in SAP
