职位描述:

Job Responsibility

  • Design and implement algorithms for multi-object detection and tracking of road users (vehicles, pedestrians) by sensor fusion of camera, radar, LIDAR
  • Conduct data analysis for performance evaluation of tracking and mapping algorithms
  • Integrate algorithms into existing robotics /vehicle platform and perform real-world testing
  • Review project requirements, survey available technologies, and check feasibility regarding requirements and resources
  • Fulfill the project goals timely and with quality
  • Document processes and results during development, especially for the key milestones
  • Work pro-actively within team to feedback processes and problems timely, and to discuss and find solutions

Knowledge competencies and attributes Required:

  • Major in computer science, software engineering, robotics, AI, electronic engineering, or other relevant technical background
  • Solid knowledge in sensor data processing (e.g.images, pointclouds), digital signal processing, or data analysis
  • Good C/C++ and/or Python programming skills
  • Good communication skills to work in an international team
  • Proficient in oral and written English and/or German
  • A quick learner who is self-driven and detail-oriented
  • Can work at least 3 days/week, and continue 3-6 months

Preferred, but not required: 

  • Experience with robot or automotive sensors (e.g. camera, Lidar, radar)
  • Experience with robotics or automotive system development
  • Experience with SLAM or sensor fusion
  • Experience with ROS (Robot Operating System)
