Job Description: Are you currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance and looking to gain related work experience in a Fortune 500 company? Air Products, a leader in industrial gas manufacturing, has summer 2024 internship positions available in our Internal Audit department located in Shanghai, China. The internship position will focus on (but are not limited to): Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls testing - includes conducting joint meetings with our external auditors and management to test the operating effectiveness of our internal controls, preparing work papers, analyzing the evidence of the control performance, making a pass/failure determination, and supporting the follow up of issues identified during testing. Tests of compliance will be performed in various areas including Financial Reporting, Taxes, Payroll, Revenue, Fixed Assets, Treasury, and Requisition-to-Pay. This internship will also provide exposure to SAP ECC, SAP BW, and BPC ERP systems. Operational audits - Includes executing audit programs, performing testing, and preparing audit work papers to document conclusions reached during testing. Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree, major in accounting or finance. - Minimum GPA of 3.3 is required. - Able to work full time (5 working days) from Jun/Jul to Aug 2024. - Strong leadership, problem-solving, interpersonal, communication and time management skills. - Previous experience with Microsoft Excel and Word. - Inquisitive mindset. - Experience with data analytics tool (preferred). - Ability to maintain confidentiality.
