We are going to strongly extend FarFetch’s footprint on WeChat, in order to complete the transaction close loop. With this important development in sight, we need several interns on the Product team to support the daily operations and refining of this emerging channel, which is a highly strategic move for our development in the China market.

Intern – WeChat Store Operations

 

We need this intern to manage the daily operations of Farfetch WeChat Store including the following:

 

·         Manage product inventory

·         Process customer orders

·         Monitor order status

·         Generate regular reports

 

Intern – Product and Technical Research

 

To ensure continuous refinement and good execution of the China product strategy, we need this intern to help researching on and shaping product strategies through executing researches on specific product features/trends, benchmark studies, etc.

 

·         Collect, consolidate and analyze market information, including competitors, market trend, as basis for product strategy & management decision

·         Coordinate with other teams to support product development

·         3rd party vender research and sourcing (e.g. what vendor to use for video-streaming, hosting customer information, local market analytic tools, etc.)

 

Who you are:

·         For the Store Operations Intern role, ideally you are studying/have studied in academic modules related to marketing, arts, language or general business management

·         For the Product and Research Intern role, ideally you are studying/have studied in academic modules related to computer science, mathematics, or engineering

·         Proactive, self-driven, result-orientated

·         Good communication and interpersonal skills

·         Well organized and detail oriented

·         Cooperative, ability to balance different opinion in order to reach the common goal

·         Convincing and able to influence people

·         Able to cope with difficult situation and find solution/proposal

·         While compliant in following given procedures, you remain flexible/creative enough to reach targets
