Job Description
The Sales Operations Intern for Global TV Distribution will support Television Distributions sales efforts for NBCU’s films and TV products in China, helping with pre-sale preparation and post-sale execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with sales efforts for NBCU's films and TV products in China
- Support pre-sale activities including but not limited to preparing title list, pitch deck, and organizing screening events.
- Monitor and analyze viewership data and performance of NBCU content across partner platforms to support sales strategies
- Stay informed on market trends and regulatory environment and provide relevant insight to support internal planning
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
Education:
- Undergraduate or postgraduate students in the 2nd year or 3rd year at university, major in (media, communication, marketing or business)
- Able to physically work in Shanghai office at least 3 workdays per week, starting from February/March 2026, for at least 6-month internship.
Core Skills:
- Proficient Excel & PowerPoint (Pivot Table & VLookup)
- Strong analytical and market research skills.
- Native Chinese speaker, and good command of English would be an advantage (fluent in written English)
Desired Characteristics:
- Good attention to details and possess good communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Fast learner and good team player
- Highly motivated and be able to work independently.
- Interested in foreign films and TV Series is a plus
- Past internship experiences would be an advantage
