Daniel Wellington’s Business Controlling & Business Development team is developing and we are looking for a future talent. As a Business Controlling & Business Development Intern you will be located in the China Headquarter in Shenzhen China. Are you a self-starter and self-motivated person who want to work in a successful company under great change and strong growth?

WHAT YOU’LL BE UP TO:

You’ll be given the opportunity to work with analysis, projects, reports and development – turning numbers into actions – always with the focus to drive sales, profitability and business growth

You’ll get unique insight into how the data analysis department of Europe’s fastest growing company (according to Forbes 2017) works

You’ll be able to support Daniel Wellington with a range of different daily tasks including routine reports, data collection, data cleaning, market research and deep data analysis

You’ll support in building, designing and maintaining reports in Excel and Tableau for cross-functional departments

WHAT YOU’RE GREAT AT:

Our ideal candidate is a self-starter with high degree of self-motivation and determination. You’ll be given plenty of responsibility from day one, and with excellent self-leadership skills you see what needs to be done, and you do it. We are looking for someone who is leaning forward and possess a developed analytical skill with high integrity.

You find it easy to see the whole and can make the complex simple.

You are fluent in Mandarin and English.

We believe that you are currently enrolled as a student for a BSc or BBA degree in Business / Management / Engineering / Computer Science or other relevant field.

You have an excellent business and data mindset, and possess high interest in business analysis, controlling, and business development.

You are updated about the latest market trends within e-commerce and retail in China.

You have the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced changing environment and to build strong relationships across the business.

You are hard-working, self-driven, and are not afraid to go the extra mile to get the work done.

You have a passion for big data, deep analysis and are familiar working with Microsoft Excel. Knowledge in SQL, Tableau and VBA is a plus.

WHO YOU ARE:

You have a genuine interest in structuring information to understand the business. An interest for new technologies and solutions for analyzing data is a necessity for you to thrive in this role. You are a highly motivated, driven and detail oriented person, willing to make a difference. You have strong analytical skills and are passionate about building structure in a creative and visionary environment.
