Mission and Purpose:
C/EG-I are focused on innovation, technology trends, and China's startup scene. We scout for key enabling technologies and manage Audi R&D's predevelopment portfolio, leveraging findings from scouting and ideas from other departments. Our team has deep understanding of China's startup ecosystem, technology landscape, and government initiatives, along with extensive industrialization experience.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Identify technology trends in relevant industries
Analyze startups with high business fit
Research innovations through news, websites, and industry events
Collaborate with business units to define innovation research scope
Create presentations on various innovation topics
Define R&D innovation strategy based on future tech trends
Support pre-development projects for function definition
Maintain department databases and shared folders
Provide administrative and logistical support
Education Background:
Master's (preferred) or Bachelor's degree in technical field (computer science, engineering) with strong automotive industry knowledge
Business Administration/Economics degrees considered for highly talented candidates
Study abroad/foreign exchange program experience preferred

Competence Requirements:
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, Outlook, PPT, Word, Excel)
Skilled in photo/video shooting and editing
Strong technology understanding
Minimum 3-month internship in multinational company preferred
Experience in innovation, automotive, and digital products preferred
Availability of 5 days/week for 4-6 months
Language Skills:
Fluent in both English and Chinese (oral and written)
German language skills are a plus
