Job Description:
1. Under the supervision of General Counsel and Legal Advisor, the candidate will support the legal team in all its areas of intervention:
2. Draft, review and revise various contracts template-based contracts, such as NDA, MOU, LOI, JVC, AoA, SPA, etc.
3. Draft, review and revise contracts for corporate matters, such as office rent, procurement etc.
4. Legal research and preliminary legal analysis.
5. Corporate registry and filing matters in mainland China, Hong Kong and other Asian areas.
6. Handle legal administrative work, such as filing, documents exchange, etc.
7. Advise on regulatory issues relating to marketing activities and all other day-to-day activities of the business.
8. Liaise with regulatory authorities, internal and external advisors and other internal control groups on legal, compliance and regulatory related matters.
9. Assist and assume responsibility in all other matters within the field of legal and corporate.
Requirements:
1. Admitted to practice law in any jurisdiction; PRC bar qualification is preferred.
2. Bachelor degree in law or above from a reputable law school with strong academic records; oversea education or working background would be a plus.
3. Minimum of 1-3 years post-qualified experiences in corporate and commercial laws, environmental laws, ideally with major law firms and/or MNCs in China; relevant industry background is preferable.
4. Excellent command of English and Mandarin in both verbal and written.
5. Strong understanding of business needs - able to develop strong working relationships with business partners at all levels to address legal issues and risks.
6. Self-motivated - able to work independently with minimal supervision and/or ongoing direction.
7. Good team player - able to forge good working relationships at all levels of the business.
8. Experiences in environmental protection services industry within Asia would be an advantage.
