The Open Source Technology Center within the Software and Solutions Group is looking for talented and motivated interns on the graphics related development or validation for Linux-based OS. Our goal is to achieve the best graphics functionality, performance and user experience for OS productions. This position requires the ability to handle large and complex code base, solid background of programming and algorithm, enthusiasm of latest graphics technologies. This position also requires positive interaction with the open source community such as graphics middleware, mesa and kernel etc, to ensure code is developed in high quality and adopted in upstream community projects as appropriate. Specific tasks may include but not limited to: - Enabling/backporting graphics features on different platforms and different kernel versions - Implementing and debugging graphics related features on multiple platforms - Improving or bug fixing the existing features - Working and contributing to different open source projects and communities - Maintaining open source graphics test case and creating new manual or automated test cases - Validating the graphics features or bug fixings via graphics tests

- 3~5 days full time working per week - Knowledge on graphics related technology. - Experience of interacting with the open source community/projects is a plus. - Major in Computer Science or related areas. - Solid design and programming skills with C/C++ - Knowledge and experience in one or more of the following key areas: - Familiar with Linux system and tools, understanding of Linux internals - Familiar with C/C++, Shell Script, Python - Familiar/Good understanding of OpenGL/OpenGLES - Familiar with Linux graphics framework, middleware and drivers - Linux kernel knowledge and experience is a plus - Graphics middleware or driver validation experience with dEQP, IGT, etc - Good English communication skill include verbal and writing skills. - Demonstrate a high level of flexibility and team work
