Description Pushing forward the boundary of digitalization on engineering works is one of the trend in aviation industry. We would like to analyse the overall manufacturing and concession process and decide which process to improve. Build a value stream mapping for full concession process, from request for concession coming from factory to solution and conclusion provided by engineers. In this way, evaluate each process and identify the process need to be optimized.
E.g. based on existing tools in engineering centre, a concession system storing key concession data will be developed, enables data storing and data analysis (Categorization, location of NC, advanced searching and intelligent recommendation for solution of previous similar cases)
Tasks 1. Build the value stream mapping for overall concession process and identify the process need to be optimized 2. Design and build a DBMS (Database Management System) for concession data, identify key parameters, extract data from concession pdf, import to DBMS 3. Implement a filtering and sorting algorithm to provide recommending solution for new coming concession cases
Objectives 1. Leverage value stream mapping management tool to track and visualize the overall concession process and identify the needs. 2. Build a Database Management System for concession data and do data analysis work.
Requirements 1. Education: Bachelors in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience 2. Language: English, Chinese 3. Other skills: (1) Technical background in Computer Engineering, knowledge on machine learning and deep learning algorithms (2) Experience in multidisciplinary work and knowledge of project management processes and tools (3) Passion for new technologies and technical acumen to evaluate their relevance (4) Entrepreneurship spirit in proposing innovative ideas, taking levered risks to win opportunities, be disruptive
