Attend VPI or VPC technical meetings to understand requirement of newproduct DVP&R

Work closely with TPL to draft the testing schedule based on internaland external testing facility resource and testing team work load

Select sensors and signal conditioning hardware for multiple testsystems that are appropriate for required measurement accuracy, resolution,bandwidth and test conditions. Set up test controls and data acquisitionprocesses to collect the required data. Sometimes repeat setup, operation andtroubleshooting of equipment and instrumentation used to test key measurementparameters for the product

Ensure engineering testing procedure & testing data conforms to theCummins technical standard like ESW, ET and FEP.  Conform to China GB and ISO standards, EUDirectives, codes and legal requirements, as appropriate.

Perform the calibration process for equipment and instrument used for testingby following defined calibration period based on character and application ofinstrument.

Compile test report and have review meeting with TPL, engineering teamand Chief Engineer (in some cases) as the most critical deliverable to VPI andVPC project. Release the signed off testing report in Windchill as CTR andrecord CTR number in off-line log file.

Responsible for trouble shooting issues to ensure testing is performedto quality and time objectives.

Identify improvement opportunities for test work instructions and testpractices.

Work within Cummins health and safety policy and legal environment requirements(HSE).  Participate in Cummins communityresponsibility and other initiatives.

Bachelorof Science or equivalent degree in engineering required.

Minimalrelevant work experience desired, such as internship, co-op, or other pertinentwork experience.

Fluentoral and written skill of English.

GensetProduct Design Engineering experience preferred.
