Department Description: Starting in early 2005, Microsoft's Server and Development Tools (China) was born with the vision of becoming the world first-class development, innovation and business center, and contributing to the success of the Server and Development Tools Group in the market of China and worldwide. Nowadays, as the core department of Microsoft Asia-pacific R&D group, Microsoft's Server and Development Tools (China) research and development team renamed as Microsoft China Cloud Computing and Enterprise Group (C + E China). At present, both in Beijing and Shanghai, we have more than 500 R & D personnel, actively participate in the global research and innovation of cloud computing, big data, Web of things, Windows and  Microsoft's core platform products. Under the new vision of “mobility and cloud technology first”, C + E China evolves into the mission of "cloud each business unit". And the Chinese R&D team is gradually increasing inputs in Microsoft Azure and the relative research and development of cloud technology on the basis of Microsoft Azure. In September 2010, R&D team of Microsoft China Cloud Computing and Enterprise Group (C + E China) set up the Microsoft China Cloud Innovation Center (CCIC), providing full support for the smooth using of the cloud computing products and technologies of Hyper - V and Azure. In September 2014, Microsoft Asia Pacific Technology Co., LTD. was set up, focusing on the global research and development of Microsoft operating system and the technology innovation and local project incubation. We keep close interaction with government departments, academics, technical community, and local customers, which plays an important role in the process of Microsoft's global research and development.  At the same time, Microsoft Asia Pacific Technology Co., LTD. actively participate in the construction and the cooperation of the local ecological system, and give all-out support to Chinese partners and customers for smooth migration to the cloud technology. We also set up an R&D team for quick response to local special demands, which can serve as an significant bridge between the cloud computing market in China and the R&D team of Microsoft. As a hands-on Software Engineer (SWE), you'll make decisions about design and feature implementation, using your mastery of technical tools to make a product vision a reality. If you like to write code and design efficient data structures and algorithms to develop next-generation online services, enterprise/consumer applications or operating systems, this is the position for you to impact work and life of billions of people in the world. As a SWE, you'll bring products to life by working with Program Managers to ensure strong design. Ultimately for the SWE, it's your code that turns concepts into new technologies and services.  Requirements:  • Pursuing a BS/MS or PhD degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field  • Have experience in programming in C/C++/C#, Java and/or other computer programming languages preferred  • Solid basic knowledge on computer science, rich experience in project development  • Excellent problem analyzing and solving skill  • Good team work spirit  • Be responsible and proactive  • Good oral and written communication skills in English
