Job Description

An internship with Yum China’s Corporate Finance team in Shanghai is designed to provide the intern with real insights into the day-to-day role of corporate finance/investment professionals at a highly reputable US-listed industry leader. Our team looks for interns who can demonstrate strong analytical skills, outstanding work attitude and genuine interest for investments, finance and capital markets. Interns are expected to support professionals on industry research, investment execution, investor relations as well as various general assignments. Yum China’s unique platform provides interns with excellent investment and industry exposure. Internship cycles typically last for a minimum of three months or longer and can be extended. Interns are expected to work full-time throughout the internship.

Qualifications

Internship candidates are expected to meet the following requirements:

Ø  Excellent academic track record

Ø  Proven skills in MS Office Suite and general research capabilities

Ø  Genuine passions about investment ideas, consumer industry, capital markets

Ø  Self-motivated, problem-solving and learning mindset; able to work in a highly dynamic environment

Ø  Excellent communication skills, oral and written English and Chinese

Ø  Prior work experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity or Venture Capital preferred
