Job Objective:

§  Support engineer on chemical mechanical polishing (CMP) of sapphire

§  Support on CMP lab efficiency improvement and EHS/5S

§  Identify oxide abrasives materials for sapphire polishing and like applications

§  Study the additives for the formulation development of coating materials

Job Responsibilities:

§   Design and conduct the experiments, characterize the samples and analyze the data;

§   Conduct literature study, market investigation and information analysis;

§   Summarize the progress and write the report;

§   Communicate with team members about the progress;

§   Assist the EHS leader in lab EHS work;

§   Other study areas deem appropriate as the research projects of surface conditioning

Job Requirements:

§   MS/PhD candidates, major in materials engineering (inorganic material is favorable), chemistry, chemical engineering or ceramic, with undergraduate degree from a renowned university.

§   Diverse knowledge background is preferred, familiar with ceramic processing, chemical mechanical polishing, colloidal chemistry, surfactant sciences, and/or coating materials development is a plus.

§   Communication willing and skill, oral & written English, native Chinese speaker

§   Creative, logic and analytic thinking, strong hand-on ability

§   Self-motivated, strong sense of responsibility

§   Can work for 5 days per week, last for more than 4 months
