About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive, bilingual intern to support our General Manager and Strategy Business Development. As NMS expands its role as Nissan's global ICV Testbed, we need someone who can bridge Japanese and English communication, assist in daily operations, and contribute to strategic projects. This role is ideal for a student who wants to gain hands-on experience in corporate management, cross-cultural collaboration, and business strategy within a fast-paced automotive tech environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpretation Translation: Provide accurate Japanese-to-Chinese and Japanese-to-English interpretation during meetings, calls, and workshops involving Japanese-speaking stakeholders. Translate key documents (presentations, reports, emails) as needed.
Assistance Support: Assist the General Manager - Head of Company Operation with daily administrative and operational tasks.
Strategy Business Development Support: Conduct market research on ICV, autonomous driving, and mobility trends. Help prepare presentations and briefs for internal leadership and external partners.
Cross-departmental Coordination: Facilitate communication between Japanese partners, local teams, and global stakeholders. Support project tracking and documentation.
Who You Are:
Currently pursuing a degree, preferably majoring in Japanese with a minor in English (or equivalent strong bilingual background).
Language: Fluent in Japanese and Mandarin. Strong English reading/writing skills are highly preferred.
Organized Detail-oriented: You can manage multiple tasks, take clear meeting notes, and follow through on commitments.
Proactive: You don't wait for instructions – you identify what needs to be done and propose solutions.
Basic business sense: Interest in strategy, finance, or automotive industry is a plus. PowerPoint and Excel skills are a plus.
