Job Summary:
As an Intern in Product Controlling, you will support the Controlling team in analyzing financial and operational data to optimize product profitability, cost efficiency, and business performance. You will gain hands-on experience in product cost calculations, variance analysis, and reporting while working closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., Finance, Production, Sales).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Analysis & Reporting:
• Assist in monthly/quarterly product cost calculations and profitability reports.
• Analyze variances between actual vs. budgeted/forecasted costs.
• Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses to support decision-making.
2. Process Support:
• Help maintain product cost databases and ensure data accuracy.
• Support the team in standardizing controlling processes and documentation.
• Participate in cross-departmental projects to improve cost transparency.
3. Forecasting & Budgeting:
• Contribute to the preparation of product-related budgets and forecasts.
• Track KPIs (e.g., gross margins, production costs) and highlight trends.
4. Collaboration:
• Work with production, procurement, and sales teams to gather relevant data.
• Present findings to senior team members in clear, structured formats.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and cost controlling (preferred).
• Proficiency in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate complex data in a simple way.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
