[4-6 months, 4-5 days/week] Objectives: The Information Security Intern will support the Information Security Team in implementing and improving cybersecurity controls across Mercedes-Benz China IT environments. The intern will participate in operational security activities, security assessments, vulnerability management, cloud security initiatives, and data protection projects while gaining hands-on experience in enterprise cybersecurity practices. Main Tasks: 1. Security Operations Support Assist in security alert monitoring, incident investigation, documentation, and reporting. 2. Vulnerability Management Perform vulnerability scanning, remediation tracking, and security assessments. 3. Cloud & Infrastructure Security Support cloud security reviews, configuration validation, and baseline checks. 4. Data Protection & DLP Activities Assist in DLP analysis, data classification, and data protection initiatives. 5. Security Engineering & Automation Support security automation, log analysis, reporting, and technology testing. 6. Security Documentation & Research Prepare security documentation, reports, presentations, and threat research. Learning Opportunities: 1. Key Qualifications: Basic understanding of: - Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS) - Operating Systems (Windows/Linux) - Information Security principles Familiar with at least one scripting/programming language: - Python/PowerShell/Java/Go/Shell Script - Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Language: Chinese: Proficient English: Proficient Education: Bachelor or above. Cyber Security, Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
