Name of Project: eATS 2.0 Localization System Testing
Objectives:
- China as our most important and greatest market and is pushing massively towards electric mobility. Standards and regulations for a New Energy Vehicles change rapidly. Within this fast growing and developing business of Mercedes-Benz in China, the electric drive department is continuously developing. While series production for Hybrid and BEVs will soon be running under full steam, new electric products need to be implemented. For our Electric Drive Unit and Drivetrain team this means more and more components will be localized with local engineering including E-motors, inverters and transmission parts within the electrified drive unit. System testing, as a critical step in the final acceptance of localized samples, ensures that we deliver the best products to our customers.
Main Tasks:
- Development and maintenance of automation testing/analysis scripts by Matlab/Python
- Supporting on test result analysis and evaluation
- Supporting on trouble shooting and failure analysis
- Other supportive tasks
Learning Opportunities:
- System testing related to the development and validation of electric drive units.
- Gain insight into the entire process of system testing, from the preparing test cases, development of test case automation, equipment commissioning, execution to result analysis and review.
- Collaborate with outstanding domestic and international engineers to jointly complete R&D tasks.
Key Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of electric drive systems and drivetrains. Interest in related fields
- Proficient in Matlab or Python, with practical experience in these areas being a plus
- Excellent abilities in self-learning, self-motivation, and communication
- Experience with Vector tool CANape
Language:
English: Proficient
German is a plus
Education:
Degree: Bachelor or above
Major: Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
