BMW China R&D Vehicle Safety is offering an exciting and challenging internship position. You will take responsibility for different topics in passive/active safety to bring your theoretical knowledge into practical research. We analyzing the passive safety performance of BMW by accident research and crash tests, you will also support the research project Naturalistic Driving Study for active safety/ADAS functions development, which gives you a chance to entry the field of mobility in future. Qualification and Experience: Undergraduate or postgraduate student in colleges or universities Study automotive, mechanical or computer engineering or similar courses Fluent spoken and written English, German is a plus Advanced skills in MS Office Tools Strong interpersonal and communication skills, which able to work in a multi-cultural environment. Driving license, good knowledge about Chinese traffic and driving behavior is an advantage. Task designation: Support Accident Research which includes all-round crash details analysis and software PC-Crash simulation. Support research project Naturalistic Driving Study on active safety/ADAS development. Focus on customer usage of BMW ADAS functions under china traffic environment. Analyze the accident cases in traffic/accident database, and prepare/ use the data for statistical analysis. Preferable internship duration 5-6 months. Full time 3000 rmb after tax.
