Program Overview:
Sales & Trading Rotational Analysts work in the Global MarketsGroup of BMO Capital Markets, comprising global fixed income, currency and commodities (FICC) , serving our corporate, institutional and government clients. This program offers specialized knowledge training in select Global Marketsgroups, hands-on experience in a fast-paced trading room environment as well as mentorship from key business leads in FICC product groups.
The candidate selected for this program will participate in a 18 to 24 month rotation through various desks in the Global Markets business, including Fixed Income, Money Markets and Foreign Exchange. Each rotation is customizable in length and the Sales & Trading Analyst will gain exposure to a wide variety of products and services.
Responsibilities:
The Rotational Analysts are fully integrated into the assigned desk. Responsibilities include, performing a variety of analytical and administrative assignments, working on relevant projects, and taking on daily tasks critical to the desk. These assignments will vary from day to day and may include developing presentation materials using MS PowerPoint and MS Excel, programming, fielding client phone inquiries and providing other client contact support as necessary.
Qualifications:
We are looking for highly motivated individuals who can work well in a team based environment. They must possess:
o Knowledge and familiarity with data manipulation / Excel skills including VBA are an asset
· Must be authorized to work in China and not require sponsorship
