The Academic Operations Intern will support the daily operations of the Academic Office, with a focus on academic scheduling, assessment logistics, and learning management system (Seiue) maintenance. This role involves working closely with teachers and the Academic Office to ensure that academic schedules, assessments, and system operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Scheduling & Exam Coordination
Assist in maintaining and updating academic schedules and calendars.
Support the preparation and adjustment of exam schedules and proctoring arrangements.
Coordinate proctoring assignments, including communicating with substitute teachers and handling proctor swap requests to ensure full exam coverage.
Assist with administrative preparation for high school examination periods
LMS Maintenance & Account Management
Provide operational support for the Learning Management System
Create and maintain student and teacher accounts.
Assist teachers with course setup, grade entry, and system navigation.
Monitor missing or incomplete grade reports and follow up with teachers when necessary.
Support the organization of assessment data and academic records.
Academic Data & Document Processing
Upload learning materials, grade reports, and academic documents to internal platforms.
Organize and maintain academic records and documentation.
Academic Office Communication & Meeting Support
Assist in preparing meeting materials and documentation for academic meetings and parent events.
Support the coordination of parent teacher conferences and academic events.
Draft or proofread routine email communications related to academic operations.
Qualifications
Fluent in English.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Comfortable working with spreadsheets and digital systems.
Good communication skills and ability to work with teachers and administrative teams.
Interest in education operations or school administration.
