The Marketing Intern will support the NYU Shanghai Undergraduate Admissions team in two areas: campus tour coordination and basic social media operations. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, people-friendly student or recent graduate interested in university marketing.Key ResponsibilitiesWelcome Center & Campus Tour Support (40%)Serve as backup campus tour guide when student ambassadors are unavailableAssist with visitor reception and welcome center operations to ensure a positive visitor experienceSupport other on-campus admissions events as neededBasic Social Media Support (40%)Assist with content posting on WeChat, RED, and WeiboHelp with basic Chinese copywriting and proofreadingSupport the marketing team in maintaining content calendars and media assetsGeneral Admissions Support (20%)Provide logistical and administrative support as neededComplete other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the marketing and admissions teamQualificationsCurrent student or recent graduate; Marketing, Communications, Media, Event Management, or related field preferredStrong bilingual communication skills (Chinese and English)Basic knowledge of Chinese social media platforms (WeChat, RED, Weibo)Responsible, proactive, and able to multitaskAble to work full-time summer schedule (40 hours/week) with occasional flexibility for eventsCustomer service, tour guiding, or social media experience is a plusBenefitsHands-on experience in visitor engagement and social media operations at a global universityWork in an international environment with higher education professionalsDevelop communication and organizational skills
