Key Responsibilities • Market Research: Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential business opportunities, monitor science/R&D/BD frontiers and assess competitive landscapes • Financial Analysis: Develop financial models to evaluate the profitability and risks associated with potential deals and set up deal transaction structures accordingly • AI Automation: Leverage AI/ML capabilities to monitor the market and conduct research at scale • Due Diligence: Assist in due diligence on potential partners or acquisition targets, including scientific, financial, and legal aspects • Presentation Development: Prepare presentations and materials for internal and external stakeholders, effectively communicating findings and recommendations Working time Please note the availability requirements before applying with CV: • Working days per week: ≥3 days, 5 days preferred. This internship is preferably onsite in Shanghai. • Internship duration: ≥3 months preferred Position requirement • Education: Pursuing a PhD or MBA degree in a relevant field such as life sciences, business or economics is a plus. Computer Science background with high interest in biopharma is also encouraged. • Experience: Prior work/internship experience in top consulting, investment banking, healthcare VC/PE, pharmaceutical companies (BD/R&D/Strategy), AI4Science, AI/ML/data manipulation is highly preferred • Skills: Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent command of English in written and verbal communication; ability to work independently and as part of a team
