Department Mission: · Represents the key function in Powertrain components development topics in Volkswagen Group in Region China. It acts as a powerful interface among Audi AG and VW AG, VW Group China and our Joint Ventures and Component plants in China for Powertrain technologies. · Leading the Powertrain Component Development Design within Group R&D China for localization and developing engines components for the Chinese market and takes the full responsibility for the current projects. Your Responsibilities: · Support on engine components localization projects · Support on local supplier development · Support on competitor analysis · Support on Design, optimization and release of engine or other powertrain components · Support on preparation for project related meeting & committees · Support on other daily tasks of powertrain part design team Technical key words: Powertrain component; Design; supplier development Required Qualification: · Education: Bachelor or above student in mechanical-, electrical-, mechatronic- or automotive engineering or equivalent education · Knowledge, skills and abilities: Basic technical knowledge of engine & vehicle technologies Basic Knowledge of powertrain and part manufacturing and assembling processes Familiar with Microsoft Software · Language: Good English skills (written and spoken) Good German skills is a plus
