SUMMARY
We are looking for an enthusiastic intern to join the Retail Marketing team to help achieve our goals. Retail Marketing Team is a part of Midea International Business, Brand Marketing and Management Department. The Retail Marketing team is responsible for building Midea international retail standards in 3 key areas which are In-Store Visibility, Promoter Management and Store Data Analysis, implementing key projects with several countries around the world to accelerate their businesses, and working cross-functionally with other teams to deliver successful marketing/business results.
The intern will have a unique opportunity to work on the key projects, experience how to work in a multi-cultural and international business environment and be able to develop his/her marketing knowledge, negotiation and coordination skills, among others. The intern will eventually gain broad experience in retail and shopper marketing that will better prepare him/her to enter a professional working environment in the coming future.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist the retail marketing team in the following areas:
-Store profiling, sellout, promoters and other retail management related data processing, including cleaning, matching, mining and analysis
-Regular data extraction from the iRMS system to do data tracking and analysis to ensure system high adoption rate.
-Assist project manager to enhance iRMS system by developing new functions or improve current system, understand the requirements and draw storyboards for system engineer to develop relevant functions.
-Project management and follow-up (gant-chart mapping and management)
-Coordination/negotiation with internal teams, partners and agencies
-Process management, operational and administrative tasks
-Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by manager
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Strong data analysis skill, fluency in in excel vlookup and pivot table, skills in other data analysis tool is a plus
· Strong understanding of the marketing / business concepts
· Good project coordination skills
· Attention to details
· Good communication and inter-personal skills (open, passionate, delivers clear expression)
· Able to multi task
· Fluent in English, excellent translation skills
QUALIFICATION
· Overseas graduates of 2022/2023, preferably instatistics/computer programming/marketing / business / economic
PREFERENCE
· Start work by end of March 2021
· Able to commit to at least 5 months
