The Teaching Assistant Fellowships will support the emerging, interdisciplinary science and mathematics curricula of DKU’s Undergraduate Degree Program. Successful applicants will support instruction in physics, biology, chemistry, computer science, mathematics, and statistics. Instructional support includes assisting in teaching laboratory and recitation sections and working with students on course content. Course delivery is in English, including class periods, laboratories, and recitations.
The Fellowship is appropriate for graduate students in existing graduate programs. Also eligible are senior undergraduate students who have completed their coursework and are now involved in research and writing.
Initial appointments will be for spring semester, 2020. Appointments may be extended upon review of the fellow’s performance and mutual agreement from the student, student’s dissertation advisor, his/her home institution, and the hosting institution (DKU). The fellowship will include a stipend.
