Job Overview Statistics/machine learning/big data interns Essential Functions ● Using machine learning and other data mining techniques to get insights from massive datasets ● Utilizing your experience with coding/programming (and any associated tech like Python) to write new algorithms (Time series, Bigrams, Trigrams, k-means clustering and STM Modelling) to process structured and unstructured data to produce new insights ● Adapt the latest technologies in modeling and data mining to design scientific tests  ● Work together with a team of dedicated experts including data scientists, business analyst, developers, dev-ops engineers, and architects to build machine learning pipelines for healthcare offerings. ● Work with internal stakeholders to explore and understand business data ● Learn and apply complex analytical techniques ● Author reports and presentations to communicate your process and results ● Other duties as assigned Qualifications ● Master's or PhD candidate ● Python/SQL/SAS programming skills ● Appropriate verbal and written communication skills to function within a professional work environment. ● Evidence of effective problem – solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills. ● Proficiency in alignment with the desired role placement ● Evidence of strong teamwork and communication skills.
