As a production coordinator, you will be responsible for executing area resource plans in terms of logistics and indirect piece parts and ensure their timely availability to support production needs. Ensuring materials/tooling are available for smooth transition of new products to production is also the responsibility. You will need to work closely with the Procurement team to ensure on-time delivery of materials, and also to monitor and ensure optimize inventory levels. You are also responsible for overall MFG Tooling entire life cycle management from design/application to end of life.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish Material Forecast
• Analyze and review weekly production forecast generated by the Planners for priorities and pull-in requirements.
• Create the required material forecasts and make the necessary adjustments where required to align with the Production, Engineering and Procurement requirements.
• Review the plans with the Procurement team, amend where needed, before the material forecasts are sent to the Suppliers.
• Review material consumption rates for robust forecasting.
• Maintain the required material database to facilitate material forecasting: associations, allocations, consumption and scrap rates, etc.
Identify current inventory levels
• Assigns and maintains safety stock levels and reorder points for inventoried items.
• Review and monitor material deliveries and inventory level.
• Work closely with the Procurement team to ensure timely deliveries of required materials.
Tooling management
Drive, maintain, and improve MFG overall area Tooling optimization/improvements, by design new solution or improve system level solution in production floor.
Qualification:
" Bachelor's degree or above in Industrial Engineering, or related Engineering fields. Capable of writing/oral in English.
" Proficient in Microsoft Office and applications including SharePoint etc.
" Proven ability of lead and participate in cross departments activities/program.
