Job Title: 3-D Environment Reconstruction with Mobile Robot Sensors and Hand-Held Devices

Job Responsibility:

•        Implement algorithms for 2-D and 3-D environment reconstruction from sensors on a mobile robot (2-D industrial cameras, RGB-D cameras, IMU, etc.)

•            Integrate algorithms into existing robotics platform

•            Test and deploy developed system in real-world robot

Required knowledge competencies and attributes:

Required:

•            Experience with RGB and/or 3D cameras and sensor data processing

•            Good C/C++ and/or Python programming skills

•            Good communication skills to work in an international team

•            Proficient in oral and written English

•            A quick learner who is self-driven and detail-oriented

•            Can work at least 3 days/week, and continue 4-6 months

Preferred:

·       Experience with computer vision algorithms/tools

Working department: BOSCH, CR/RTC5-AP (Corporate Research, Research and Technology Center, Asia Pacific)
