By joining the Science Based Target initiative (SBTi) in 2015, L’Oréal was among the 100 first companies to set decarbonation pathway compliant with climate science. Climate science being evolving, we need to adapt our current decarbonization strategy and realign our decarbonization roadmaps with last climate science recommendations. Also, from financial perspective, articulate Financial & Extra Financial (EF) linkage & performance, prioritize & secure financial investment (CAPEX/SPEND) for maximum impact will be super important to foster & monitor the actual output of our sustainability engagement.
