职位描述:

Responsible for sourcing, canvassing, and ordering of materials required for the operation of all Global Site. 

   DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  1. Implement purchasing strategies and action plans for globally and locally sourced indirect materials, indirect materials, raw materials and associated products, and associated products to achieve sustainable competitive advantage for Advantek products via quality and cost improvements of materials.

  2. Monitor development in the external and internal environment that may affect or impact suppliers and materials, and make action plans to address any development and changes

  3. Continuously review and recommend changes in procedures, if any, to ensure smooth flow of operations in the supply chain following generally accepted guidelines detailed in the company’s purchasing policies and procedures manual.

  4. Establish good working relationship with other cross-functional teams such as engineering, operations, marketing, and quality assurance bringing a strategic sourcing perspective to all key processes

  5. Search potential suppliers to meet sourcing requirements on Indirect materials, raw materials, and associated products.

  6. Identify and contact suppliers that can supply requested materials.

  7. Request for quotations and necessary documents like product catalogs, technical bulletins, drawings, etc. that will help match the specifications of the materials offered by the vendor against the specifications required by the end-user

  8. Collate/analyze all quotations and specification sheets received for the product comparison, vendor selection and awarding. Negotiate with vendors for improvements in the quotes for cost saving and avoidance.

  9. Secure required drawings and specifications from suppliers, plants and/or customers

  10. Align supplier terms and conditions with customer expectations

  11. Coordinate with related departments regarding receiving of materials. 

  12. Coordinate with the suppliers regarding any return and replacement of materials. 

  13. Support sourcing team to collect and maintain vendor basic information

  14. Set up purchasing prices in ERP system

  15. Collect and load data into required databases

  16. Give clerical support such as filing and documentation

  17. Analyze data and prepare reports for Global Sourcing.

  18. Check & dispatch samples, daily correspondence with suppliers independently or under the guidance of the supervisor

  19. Perform other duties that be assigned by the line Manager

  20. Admin for Global Sourcing & SCM     

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:   

  1. With strong negotiation skills and good communication skills

  2. Must be proficient with MS Office and EPR system applications, D365 is preferred.

  3. Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications

  4. With high integrity and working knowledge of purchasing practices and procedures

  5. Bilingual in English and Mandarin is preferred.
