EDF China R&D Center is the affiliate of both EDF China and EDF R&D France. As a multi-national team of EDF R&D, its main functions are to provide technical support for EDF's local business in China, to support research activities of EDF R&D, and to carry out R&D cooperation with local partners in China. China has committed to a number of environmental ambitions (e.g. in 2018 “ecological civilization enshrined in the constitution”) in order to face up to the challenges of environment and ecology issues appeared with the development of economy for more than 40 years. After year’s efforts, quite positive results have been witnessed and marked the “turning point” for the environment and ecology protection in China. This achievement is valuable experience to be learned from by the rest of world. The main objective of this internship is to make a state of art and do the analysis on the activities of environment and ecological protection realized in China, so that the experience and be learned universally. YOUR JOB: You will work physically and on a full-time basis at the EDF R&D China Centre, located in Beijing, PRC. The state of art would contain: 1.Climate change adaptation 2.Water resource protection 3.Biodiversity protection 4.Treatment of wastewater and gas 5.Natural solution 6.Environmental support services for industry EXPECTED PROFILE OF THE CANDIDATE: 1.University student: Ongoing Master's programme or final year of Grande École (mandatory). 2.Academic background in Environment, Ecology, or Energy (mandatory). 3.Professional level of English (C1 or above), both written and oral (mandatory). A good level of French (B2 or above) is a plus.
