Key responsibilities include:
1. Preparing samples for metallographic and other tests after training, such as cutting, grinding, polishing, etching etc.
2. Interpreting microstructures for steel, stainless steel, aluminum, titanium, and nickel based super alloys.
3. Conduct related mechanical tests after training, such as hardness tests, tensile tests, impact tests, creep tests etc.
4. Follow up sample making process and measure the received samples.
5. Documentation based on test results, according to QA requirements.
6. Other tasks assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications:
Education:
1. Bachelor/ master’s degree candidate in Materials Science & Engineering
Experience:
1. Hands on metallographic sample making experiences
2. Knowledgeable on metallic materials science
Additional Skills, Abilities
1. Easygoing with colleagues
2. Capabilities in reading English documents
3. Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office).
