Summary:

 

The China Research team at Nuance Communications, Inc. is seeking a skilled and motivated data engineer. The successful candidate will have good knowledge and hands-on experience of programming skill, who will help to identify data source to satisfy NLU research team needs and develop scrapers.

 

Responsibilities:

Identity data source on internet which can be scraped by spider, based on requirements from research team.

Web spider development.

ASR/NLU data analysis.

Data clean tool development.

Data test cases development.

Perform tasks related to securing and keeping the products, tools, and processes that you are responsible for securing

 

Education:

MS or bachelor’s degree candidates in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent;

 

Minimum years of work experience:

0

 

Required skills:

Good knowledge of Python programming skills;

Good knowledge of regular expression;

Familiar with HTML;

Familiar with Unix/Linux;

Team player and an insatiable desire to learn new technologies;

Good Read/Write/Speak with English;

 

Preferred skills:

Knowledge or experience of NLP and machine learning related technologies is preferred;
