Analyze field complaints and pre-Series complaints
- Understand the failure from customer documentation
- Plan and prepare for tests
- Analyze complaints by using different tools and equipment until failure is found
- Communicate to R&D if help is needed
- Finish analysis report to document results
- Hand over defective component together with analysis report to responsible person for next step analysis
Documenting the test results and Reporting
- Document each test results in a dedicated report
- Input actions and results into GTV system
- Document working hours sheet
- Complete status sheet and cloud dot for each case
- Create analysis book for hot topics
- Attend team morning meeting, Q-round and Schadenstisch to report analysis results and updates
- Finish required reporting document if needed (e.g.: weekly report, monthly report)
Case follow up and action effectiveness tracking
- Regularly follow up with supplier to determine appropriate corrective actions
- Ensure corrective actions are implemented on time
- Track action effectiveness through hotline database
- If same failure occurs after corrective actions implemented, immediate actions shall be taken
