Department Description
The Disney products inspire creativity, imagination, fun, happy memories, social expression, and communication through the Disney brand franchises for every occasion.
Responsibilities
• Research for consumer products in terms of trends/insights/creative directions
• Support Softline Product Design team in creative strategy planning for cross medium collaboration. Participate in creative idea brainstorming for multiple brands
• Visual data collection for the product concept development and developing new Disney storytelling directions for product design
• Organizational tasks including product design review, regular product information consolidation and organizing team gathering
Qualifications
• Current undergraduates or postgraduates majored in fashion design or related fields (Accessories and footwear are also acceptable)
• Key software requirements: Proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator is essential. + Keynote, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Proficiency with MAC OS
• Written and spoken Chinese are required. (Good written and spoken English are plus)
• Open-minded, active and willing to communicate with multi-tasking capability and good logical thinking
• Positive work attitude and team collaborative spirit
• 4-day work week (attendance to office negotiable) for 6-month period
• Familiar with Disney's franchises and story content. Disney Fans is preferred
