Job description
Euromonitor International is looking for a self-starting intern to support the Project Staffing Advisor with recruiting and staffing in the Asia Pacific region. The successful candidate will be involved in expanding and developing our existing pool of freelance analysts within the region, finding strong new candidates to collaborate on our studies, testing their capabilities and giving them access to online training materials.
The assistant will also ensure that analysts are effectively tracked and allocated to studies, as well as ensuring records on their performance are maintained.
Please note that this is a new role within the team and will require a proactive and informed approach. We welcome applicants from candidates with existing recruitment experience in the region and preferably those with experience recruiting for short-term contract work.
Key Responsibilities
Helping to place adverts and filter through candidates as dictated by project needs and in key markets identified as high need
Reviewing existing recruitment methods within the Asia Pacific region to establish a “best practice” approach for recruiting new analysts alongside the Project Staffing and Development Advisor. This approach should include where to advertise, testing procedures, fee recommendations and training that will include
Liaising with internal teams throughout Asia Pacific to establish key recruitment priorities and how best to address urgent recruitment needs
Ensuring contract documents are in place for both new and existing freelance contributors
Support maintaining and updating recruitment tracking tools
Support developing and promoting effective training materials for the region.
Desired Skills & Experience
Minimum availability of 24 hours per week
Human resources related majors preferred, Master students preferred
Existing recruitment experience within the Asia Pacific region a plus
Tenacity in the pursuit of information and a keen attention to detail
Strong communication skills
Creative thinker and problem solver
Excellent time-management, organization and self-motivation skills
Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Fluency in English, Mandarin. Further languages an advantage
