Job Description:
Beigene is seeking a highly motivated individual for a RNA therapeutics research intern position based at its Waigaoqiao, Shanghai site. The successful candidate supports existing researchers in the exciting areas of RNA technology, delivery technology, controlled release technology, and cancer drug development. Duties will include bench-side experiment execution, data collection and reporting, as well as troubleshooting. He or she will report to a seasoned PhD-level scientist.
Major responsibilities:
- Support internal basic research and pre-clinical development needs
- Troubleshoot experiments through literature research and discussion
- Provide summary presentations and detailed reports to internal and external collaborators
- Document and maintain clear experiment procedures
- Write and transfer SOPs
- Contribute to the smooth operation of the team
Job Requirement:
- Undergraduate/graduate students in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, bioengineering and biomedical engineering, molecular biology, cell biology, virology, immunology, pharmaceutical sciences, physics, material science, polymer science, medicine, or related disciplines
- Solid training in wet-lab skills related to molecular biology, cell biology, and/or drug formulation studies
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment
- Attention to details and record keeping
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated ability to analyze, interpret, and present data in a clear fashion
Plus to have:
- Hands-on wet-lab experience in drug-discovery related projects
- Experience with data analysis software like GraphPad and FlowJo will be beneficial.
