The New Project Purchaser Intern is part of a product development project team and works closely with the different members within the Offer Creation Process (OCP) and/or the Brand Labeling Management Process (BLMP). This role is key to the coordination of purchasing activities between Global Supply Chain and the business units with a focus on growth and meeting technical challenges through innovation.
Main objectives as New Project Purchaser Intern:
Participate to project purchasing activities in collaboration with project team members and coordinate by Project Procurement Leader
Support price negotiations for products, responsible for final resolution of all contractual agreement
Monitor and ensure competitive material cost to meet product target cost
Participate in product cost estimation and achieving product cost targets.
Requirement:
Education:Engineering bachelor degree, or business bachelor degree, master or MBA is a plus.
Business Understanding:Comprehensive Mechanical(Plastic, Stamping, printing) & Electronics (Winding, PCBA) Components supply chain experience and understanding, with Industrial product application experience will be a plus.
