Responsibilities:
Investigation of novel e-machine topologies for applications, such
as e-mobility, home appliances, e-power tools, etc.
State-of-the-art survey of e-machine for applications listed above
but not limited to.
Design and optimization of e-machine, mainly focusing on
electromagnetic (EM) simulation and analysis.
Summation and documentation of the overall work.
Qualifications/Knowledge required
Master or PhD student major in Electrical Engineering.
Research and design experiences of e-machine.
Skilled at FEA software for EM design, such as Maxwell, JMAG
etc.
Good at communication and writing in English.
Nice to have: knowledge in mechanical structure, thermal
management, or e-machine control strategies, skilled at Matlab,
AutoCAD, Abaqus, Ansys, MotorCAD, etc.
