• Key Qualifications - Proficient in Python, skilled in using libraries like pandas for data manipulation, cleaning and analysis, with the ability to optimize code for efficiency and scalability - Strong analytical skills to solve business problems independently; knowledge and experience in causal analysis is a plus - Expertise in text analysis and web scraping is highly valued - Strong communication skills to explain results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders - Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese for effective team collaboration - Available to work on-site at least 4 days a week, preferably for 6+ months - Based in Beijing, China, available to start immediately • Description - Assist business departments in retrieving, processing, and visualizing data to provide clear, actionable insights for decision making - Collaborate with data science and backend teams to implement robust production decisioning solutions, and to design, implement, and interpret models from data collection to execution - Monitor and ensure the health of operational and business metrics, investigate adverse trends, identify behavior patterns, and respond with agile logic changes - Create and present daily operational report to the management team - Maintain and update code to streamline and standardize data analysis processes, enhancing efficiency and collaboration • Education Currently working towards or already having a B.S., M.S., Ph.D., or advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or any other related field
