We're looking for talented content developers for China's leading language learning app. As a content developer, you will write and workshop content, help direct graphics and animations, and study data to iterate our course.

Our content developers are passionate about language. They are avid readers and storytellers with flare for dialogue. And they have a great sense of humor, too.

At the same time, they're obsessed with details, so grammar nerds are welcome! Our team loves to write, but we're also careful editors, and know that the best work comes through revision.

Note: This position is for both Chinese and native English speakers.

Responsibilities:

Design engaging interactive content for beginner, intermediate, and advanced level users

Regularly test and iterate content based on data and user feedback

Review and edit content according to product and style guidelines

Deploy content on our content management system

Help conduct user surveys 

Collaborate with product managers to develop and refine product features

Help manage audio-visual content (work alongside our graphic design team and voice actors)

Qualifications:

Excellent English language skills

A passion for culture and language

A love of good stories 

Obsessed with details

Language assessment experience preferred

Writing experience highly preferred

Proactive, responsible, and organized

Open-minded and collaborative 

Education experience preferred (familiarity with CEFR highly preferred)

Understanding of syllabus design a plus

Editing experience a plus
