职位描述：

Program Description

Introduction to FM Global and the field engineering department.

Research and obtain information on the which are the relevant standards, guidelines, codes of practices, etc related to fire protection system designs and maintenance, natural hazards as well as construction.

Work with various engineers and supervisors to determine the priority of comparison both in terns of countries and category.

Document gap analysis and create power point presentations that can be shown clients to highlight the key differences between the standards.

Conduct reviews of drawings of construction, equipment, fire protection, natural hazard based on FM Global guidelines and to provide input in completing the report writing.

Purpose and benefit

Intern will get acquainted with the FM Global way of loss prevention engineering and be familiarized with the standard and requirements related to fire protection and construction.
The intern will also be briefed on and possibly be assigned modules related to safety.
The intern will match the country standards to the most appropriate FM Global standards for gap analysis. A list should be created.
The intern will need to have a good understanding of FM Global standards as well as country standards to perform an effective comparison and gap analysis.
The process is likely to involve having the intern work with consultant engineers as well as specialists.
Intern will also learn how to accurately document the risk and associated data in the form of reporting writing. The intern will have a complete picture of the entire consultation process, from preparation, site visit to report writing.
