Are you passionate about writing, storytelling, and communicating ideas across cultures? NYU Shanghai's University Communications team is looking for a Content Writing & Editorial Intern to help produce compelling content through news, publications, and digital content for Chinese audiences.

We're looking for someone who is curious about people and ideas, has a strong sense of language, and enjoys turning thoughtful observations into engaging stories.

What you’ll do: 

• Write and edit stories, social media content, and marketing copy for Chinese platforms.
• Translate and adapt content between Chinese and English.
• Pitch story ideas and contribute to content planning.
• Support a variety of communications projects.

Qualifications:

• Excellent Chinese writing skills.
• Strong English proficiency (reading and writing required)
• A genuine interest in writing, editing, translation and story-telling. 
• Curious, creative, thoughtful, and eager to learn.

Plus if you have:

• Experience in journalism, publishing, communications, or copywriting.
• Familiarity with Chinese social media platforms.
• Basic image or video editing skills.

Commitment：

• Onsite commitment of at least 3 days per week (8 hours/day) for at least 4 months (September to December)
