eBay Search Science is looking for an intern to participate in projects that leverage cutting-edge techniques in natural language processing to create solutions that can scale to benefit hundreds of millions of customers. 

eBay搜索部门寻求一位人工智能方向的实习生。该职位将参与应用和研究先进的自然语言处理技术，同时数百万的eBay用户将因此获益。

Required:

1. Enrolled in Master or Ph.D. program in computer science, machine learning, mathematics, computational physics, statistics or other highly quantitative fields.

2. Proficient in Python/C++/Lua and Java programming under Linux environment. Expertise on a broad set of machine learning techniques, including awareness of recent advances in Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing.

3. Must satisfy one of the following condition with proven record: 

4. Experience with Hadoop, Pig and Hive is a plus.

5. Hard working, critical thinking, be proactive. Strong personal interest in learning, researching and creating novel solutions with high business impact.

Preferred:

1. Publication on peer-reviewed journals or conferences.

2. Strong oral and written communication skills.

Additional Requirements:

1. Expect to graduate at year 2019.

2. Be able to work at least 3/4 days per week. Long term(1+ years) internship with eBay, at least 6 months.
