Labor Law Background or related experience is Preferred
As a Legal Intern in HSBC China's legal department, you will have a unique opportunity to work with a team of experienced in-house legal counsels who have expertise in a variety of practice areas including but not limited to wholesale/retail banking products and services, digital legal services, data privacy, competition law, employment law, regulatory compliance and litigation.
You will have a broad range of responsibilities which may include (all under the supervision of the relevant in-house legal counsel):
1) Conducting legal research and preparing research paper on the legal issues/matters on requested topics;
2) Translation of legal documents and materials;
3) Assisting in the low-risk legal documentation drafting and review
4) Other legal assignment as needed from time to time.
Requirement:
1) Pursuing a Master's Degree in Law (second year student is preferred) with outstanding academic performance, Bachelor Degree in Law is preferred;
2) Fluent in both Chinese and English;
3) Good legal thinking and legal drafting skills;
4) Ability to research and learn new legal issues quickly to facilitate problem solving
