Job description
The intern will work in field related to but not limited to below topics:
1.Literature survey on electric vehicle power electronics topics
2. Build loss models for existing power devices, passive components and power electronics system etc.
3. Develop electronic circuits and embedded software for subsystem in inverters, DC/DC converters, EV chargers, etc.
4. Platform setup for motor control system, double-pulse test for IGBT/MOSFET
5.Test of prototype for proof of concept
Required knowledge, competencies and attributes
1.Major in Electrical/Control/Mechanical Engineering
2.Familiar with DC/DC converter, power devices
3.Familiar with Matlab/Simulink, PLECS, ANSYS, Altium designer etc.
4.Master in related fields of power devices, power electronics or motor control is preferred;
5.R&D experience or project experience in IGBT/SiC MOSFET, Capacitor, PV/EV inverter hardware/software is a plus;
6.Practical experience and comfortable with circuit design, PCB board assembly and test.
7.Good communication skills, fluent in English (oral and written)
8.Initiative and ability to lead research activities
9.Strong team player
10.At least 3 working days available each week and internship for at least 4 months.
